Oh when the sinner becomes a saint,
when mercy washes every stain.
The drums of grace begin to play—
Christ in me, the hope of glory.
Drums in the dust, stones in their hands, voices of judgment across the land.
A sinner’s story about to end… but mercy was writing a different end.
“Caught in the act,” that’s what they said, “Moses’ law says she should be dead.”
Voices rising, stones in their hands, the crowd beating judgment like drums in the sand.
They saw a sinner before their eyes — but heaven saw a saint in disguise.
Let the one without sin cast the first stone.
Then He spoke to my soul, go and sin no more.
The world saw sin — He saw a saint in disguise.
Oh, when the sinner becomes a saint, when mercy washes every stain.
The drums of grace begin to play — Christ in me, the hope of glory.
Mercy marching through my soul, the broken story made whole.
Grace rewrote my destiny — the sinner became a saint in me.
The Saint knelt down and wrote in the sand, silence falling across the land.
Stones grew heavy in every sinner’s hand, one by one they couldn’t stand.
The story they wrote was shame and stain — but mercy started to change my name.
Let the one without sin cast the first stone. Then He spoke to my soul, go and sin no more.
The world saw sin — He saw a saint in disguise.
Oh when the sinner becomes a saint, when mercy washes every stain.
The drums of grace begin to play — Christ in me, the hope of glory.
Mercy marching through my soul, the broken story made whole.
Grace rewrote my destiny — the sinner became a saint in me.
The Saint looked down with mercy in His eyes, seeing the soul the world despised.
No voice of judgment, no stone to throw — only grace standing close.
Then the drums of grace began to rise, mercy marching through my life.
Where they saw a sinner, He saw a saint in disguise.
Stones hit the ground, the crowd walked away.
The drums of grace began to play.
Christ in me — the hope of glory…
a sinner turned a saint in disguise.
The Story of Mercy
Gospel of John 8:1–11
“Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”
When they heard it, they went away one by one…
Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.”
Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom, the power,
and the glory forever. Amen.
Lord Jesus, I thank You for Your mercy.
I am grateful that when the world was ready to condemn,
You spoke truth and grace instead.
Your Word says,
“Let the one without sin cast the first stone,”
and You told her, “Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.”
Because of You, I stand in the promise that
there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.
Today I receive Your forgiveness and Your freedom.
Christ lives in me, the hope of glory.
I am forgiven.
I am made new.
I am walking in the victory of Your grace.
Where others once saw a sinner,
You are creating a life redeemed.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God’s mercy sustains me and never fails

They drew their circle in the dust,
marked my place where I would fall—
a public ending,
a final call.
“She should be dead.”
That was the spot they chose for me,
right there in shame
for all to see.
But He stepped in—
not where they stood,
not where they pointed
and called it good.
He bent down low
into the sand,
and rewrote the place
they thought they planned.
No loud defense,
no stones thrown back—
just quiet mercy
cutting through the attack.
And right where judgment
made its stand…
He marked it different
with His hand.
X marks the spot—
not where I died,
but where His mercy
stepped inside.
Where every voice
that called me done
was silenced by
the Holy One.
X marks the place
where stones let go,
where shame lost power
it used to hold.
Not the end—
but where grace began…
written in dust
by His own hand.
